The Humane Society of Greater Jupiter/Tequesta, Inc., known as Furry Friends Adoption, Clinic & Ranch, is a 501(c)(3) not for profit, no-kill rescue organization headquartered in Maplewood Plaza in Jupiter Florida. We are the only shelter open to the public in northern Palm Beach County and have been rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing homeless animals in our community for more than 30 years.  At 401 Maplewood Drive, you will find our main adoption center, administration offices, & full-service veterinary clinic.  Our thrift boutique is located at 615 W. Indiantown Road, across from Wendy’s restaurant.  Our organization expands beyond Jupiter’s borders with a 27-acre ranch located in Palm City.

Adoptable dogs and cats, the heartbeat of who we are, reside at both our Jupiter-based adoption center and ranch locations.  Between the two locations, we have approximately 150 dogs and cats, the latter of which roam cage free. We also have four horses at our ranch location.  Our ranch is unique in that it offers beautiful, outdoor living for most of our residents.

Our veterinary clinic provides affordable animal health care to our residents as well as to the public.  We offer such services as annual wellness checks, in-house blood work, X-rays, dental cleaning (non-anesthetic, twilight, and anesthetic), spay/neuter surgery, laser therapy and more.  Our clinic also offers an online pharmacy for all of your pet’s needs.  We invite you to make us part of your pet’s good health and well-being by becoming a clinic client.

Our thrift boutique is more than 5,000 sf of treasures including furniture, artwork, household goods, clothes, shoes, accessories & more.  We gratefully accept your gently used items and invite you to shop with us, both of which are ways to support our mission.

We invite you to learn more about us by perusing our website.  We also hope that you will consider getting involved with Furry Friends by donating, shopping, volunteering, fostering, and using our veterinary healthcare services.
